‘Meet the candidates’ events
- Thursday 3 July 2025 at 5:30pm Quiz night and meet the candidates at Space Academy. Come along for a fun night of pizza, politics and tough questions with the Christchurch Central branch of the Green Party. See the Facebook Event for more info, or sign up here.
- Wednesday 10 September 2025 at 5:30pm Tuesday Club: Meet three of our newest candidates for CCC, Smash Palace. Meet at 5pm for a 5.30pm start in the back room, or watch live on Facebook. See the Facebook Event or the Tuesday Club website for more info.
- Friday 12 September 2025 at 1:45pm School Strike for Climate – candidate panel. Worcester Street entrance to the Christchurch City Council.
- Sunday 14 September 2025 around midday-1:30pm Riccarton Market Stall with Green MP Lawrence Xu-Nan and local body election candidates. Please call in and say hi if you’re at the market.
- Sunday 14 September 2025 at 2pm Meet the Candidates – Christchurch Active Transport Edition, Action Bicycle Club, 8 Walker Street, Christchurch Central. Come meet your local Candidates and hear straight from them about their thoughts and plans for making Christchurch a more liveable active and public transportation city. - Wednesday 17 September 2025 at 1pm, meet Council and Mayoral candidates at Grey Power Christchurch’s monthly meeting, St Martin’s Church Hall, 50 Lincoln Road, Hillmorton.
- Thursday 25 September 2025 at 5:15pm Meet the candidate evening, St Albans Community Centre, 1049 Colombo St, St Albans. This event is for Mayoral and Innes Ward Council / Community Board candidates, and some ECan candidates. I’m planning to be there too.
