Following coverage in last week’s Nor’West News (pictured), I’m relieved to report that the ongoing issue of vehicles entering Barnes Reserve in Redwood has been resolved by the installation of a new barrier at the northern entrance. I remain at a loss to understand why any action has taken so long, and will be speaking to the Fendalton-Waimairi-Harewood Community Board next week to express my concerns about the lack of responsiveness.
